Last month I had the great good fun of talking with cognitive psychologist, blogger and podcaster Scott Barry Kaufmann about my book, Inventing Imaginary Worlds: From Childhood Play to Adult Creativity Across the Arts and Sciences.
Scott is currently Scientific Director of The Imagination Institute in the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where he investigates the development and measurement of intelligence, creativity, and personality. He is also co-founder of The Creativity Post, and he writes the column Beautiful Minds for Scientific American.
He placed a podcast of our conversation on his site, The Psychology Podcast, and on his Scientific American blog. Listen for our free-ranging discussion of imaginary worlds, creative potential, giftedness, vocation, self-perception, playful learning and more.
